Overview

A two player grand strategy of the American War of Independence.  A card assisted journey with high player autonomy giving perspective to the armed struggle as the centerpiece in this romantic period of liberty.   Players primary mission is to establish and maintain the public's support for their cause by whatever means necessary.  In each 4 turn year players maneuver forces and engage in battles to protect and expand their nation's interests, paving the way for the political ideology to take root and blossom into victory.   Battles are resolved during player's movement with a unique battle system where players deploy their brigades into lanes of combat as they close with and engage the enemy to score kills and possibly rout their opponent for even more kills.

After players conclude their actions on the Winter turn, a quick turnover involving winter attrition and a victory check occurs followed by the Marshal Phase in which new brigades are commissioned into the war effort before the next year of campaigning gets underway.

Throughout the Game Players receive and employ command cards that enable enhancements for short term bursts of benefit or can be used to execute deception and diplomacy actions like Insurgency, increasing French Support, recruiting Benedict Arnold, and more.

Three starting points for the Game: 1775 right after Lexington and Concord as Washington Assumes command of a rag tag army, 1777 with the Saratoga Campaign underway, and 1780 after the fall of Charleston and American Defeat at Camden with the War in the South.

with unlimited amounts of directions play can unfold, no two games will play out the same. Will you lead your nation to glory or defeat?
